How we handle your data — in plain language.

Wajib AI ("we", "us") helps you manage your financial commitments. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. In short: we only use your data to run the app — we never sell it.
Wajib AI requests access to your device camera and photo library only when you choose to capture or select an image of a check, invoice, receipt, or other financial document. These images are used to help you manage your financial obligations and, if you choose, to extract obligation details such as amounts and due dates using OCR and AI features.
The camera and photo library are never accessed automatically or in the background. Access occurs only after you explicitly choose to take a photo or select an existing image.
Account details (name, email); the obligations you add (titles, amounts, dates, parties); documents you choose to upload; and basic device and usage data needed to run the app.
To provide the service, send the reminders you set, power the AI features you request, and improve reliability. We never use your obligations to advertise to you.
When you use the AI Assistant or AI Smart Import, the app sends the content needed to serve you to our secure server:
This content is processed only to extract obligation details or answer your request. It is transmitted encrypted (HTTPS), is never sold, and is never used to train AI models. Our server forwards the request to Anthropic (the provider of the Claude AI model) to generate the response, under Anthropic’s commercial terms, which do not permit training on customer data. If you never use the AI features, no commitment data is sent to the AI service.
We don’t sell personal data. We share only with service providers who run our infrastructure under contract, or when required by law.
Your data is stored securely and protected with industry-standard measures. Payments are handled by Apple and Google — we never see your card details.
You can view, export, or permanently delete your data anytime from Settings → Delete Account inside the app. Deletion permanently removes your sign-in account, all commitments and payment data, uploaded documents and photos, notification tokens, and your plan record from our systems. This action cannot be undone.
Marketing email addresses are removed from our mailing system within 30 days of account deletion. You can also unsubscribe from any marketing email instantly via its unsubscribe link.
Wajib Pro is billed and managed by the App Store / Google Play under their terms. We store your current plan tier, app language, and commitments count to operate plan limits and send relevant service emails. We do not store card or payment details.
Wajib AI is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country).
